Pronto.com is a leading online shopping destination. We recently launched several new micro sites, including ProntoStyle.com, ProntoHome.com and ProntoTech.com to create the industry`s most comprehensive, targeted online shopping experience.
We are looking for a creative web developer to join our front end development team. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling aggressive deadlines and multi tasking.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain the existing Pronto family of websites.
• Implement new features based on the requirements and designs specified by the product team.
• Communicate with the product, design and engineering teams to gather all the necessary components for the projects.
• Work with the QA team to fix identified issues.
• Verify code across multiple browsers and operating systems.
• Use best practices to build an optimal user experience.
Required Experience/Skills
• Minimum 2 years web development using CSS, HTML, JavaScript and Ajax.
• Knowledge of web standards and familiarity with cross browser compatibility issues.
• Experience with JSP or other similar technology (experience with JSTL and Tiles is a plus).
• Some experience with Photoshop (ability to cut up images from mocks).
• Experience with JQuery is a plus.
• Knowledge of Wordpress templates is a plus.
